As of December 6, 2008 "dns-admin@qwestip.net" is no longer publicly * available for requesting DNS. To request new service or changes to your existing DNS service, you must use one of the following processes:

1. If you have a "Qwest Control" account, login to http://control.qwest.com. Open a "Repair Ticket", specifying your DNS needs. (Please see http://dns.arl.qwestip.net/qcontrol.ppt for detailed instructions.) If you do not have a "Qwest Control" account, please contact your Qwest account manager as soon as possible or call the Q. Control Help Desk at 877-726-6875 to obtain access.

2. Call 800-672-8520 option 4, option 2. Hours of operation are: 8:00AM - 9:00PM CT M-F.

NOTE: the phone number for the 24 x 7 IP NOC is 1-877-886-6515.

* dns-admin@qwestip.net remains available from certain internal addresses, such as from "qwest.com" (for customer account representatives). This is being done as a courtesy for customers who may not have yet obtained a Qwest Control account. Please consult your Qwest account representative for more details.
